The present document presents a detailed overview of S3E’s communication, dissemination and exploitation strategy, vital elements of any successful Horizon Europe funded project, while defining the goals, priorities, and potential implementation mechanisms to achieve all desired outcomes. Furthermore, S3E’s Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation Plan sets out the tools, materials, and channels to be exploited to effectively disseminate the project activities, open calls, achievements, and tangible results to targeted audiences, which have been identified in the previous Deliverable 5.1 Stakeholder Collaboration Framework.

This deliverable reports on the European Innovation Ecosystem with a focus on the southern European countries that the S3E projects addresses, their strengths and weaknesses, and some next steps to be done. In creating this ecosystem mapping, we have considered the European Innovation Scoreboard 2022, research and reporting on innovation and entrepreneurship from various sources that are stated in the report.

The deliverable also gathers some of the documents issued by the S3E consortium for the researchers', technology transfer officer’s applicants and experts. S3E is presented at the Athens Stock Exchange – A Driver for the Greek Economy Growth Conference
S3E team member, Nikos Therapos, project manager at the Institute for Sustainable Development by EPLO, presented the S3E project at the 20th Investment & Stock Conference organized by the Association of Investors and Internet (SED), on December 17 & 18, entitled "Athens Stock Exchange – A Driver for the Greek Economy Growth".
Nikos' presentation took place on December 18, 2022 in the first Panel on "Professional orientation of Greek University students". Below you can find some pictures.

Celebration of an info webinar targeting the whole TÜRKİYE Innovation Ecosystem
This week we are crossing the Mediterranean to spread the South European Deep Tech Revolution and invite Turkish researchers, startups, SMEs and challenge organisation to participate in our innovation programs: START, CHARGE and REVERSE.
In collaboration with TUBITAK, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye, we are celebrating a virtual informative session about the S3E Open Call in order to attract participants and solve questions to potential applicants.

Launched in 2020, The Earthshot Prize is an ambitious global prize for the environment, designed to discover, celebrate and scale the best solutions to help repair our planet.
As an Official Nominator, EPLO ISD are one of over 300 organisations from across the world, invited to submit nominations, selected for our ability to identify the most impactful solutions across all sectors, from grassroots to businesses.
The Earthshot Prize will consider solutions which make tangible progress towards one of the five Earthshots. They should be beyond idea stage, have tested their solution in-field or with target audiences, and are at a ‘tipping point’ for scaling their impact within the next five years.

S3E is looking for Evaluators, Mentors, Brokers and DeepTech Experts to join the S3E mission.
💪In order to support the implementation of the S3E innovation programs (START, CHARGE and REVERSE), we will count on the support of external experts that, based on their experience, will complement the diverse activities envisioned by the project: evaluation of proposals, mentorship, business advice, matching, brokering, etc.
🔎We are looking for experts with a high level of expertise and professional experience in supporting deep tech projects, growth, and scaling startups.

S3E presentation at the University of Patras
The event was held at the University of Patras in Greece and S3E had the chance to present the project and our Open Call to more than 100 participants. Mr. Spyros Kouvelis shared an interesting perspective on how the project is promoting both sustainability and economic growth by supporting the development of new deep tech projects and ideas.
